Mark Haines - President, Deco Sealers
Mark Haines is President of Deco Sealers. His responsibilities include establishing distribution channels throughout the United States, working with construction and educating architectural firms to specify Deco products, finding spray applicators to apply Deco Sealer and Membrane products, developing partnerships and overseeing all business operations.
Mark’s experience was selling industrial equipment and healthcare software in the late 80’s to mid 90’s. He created his first consulting business in ’98 as Armer & Haines Advisory Group Inc. for 11 years. A&H was one of the largest EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) practices in the country and was Sterling Commerce’s (now IBM) largest service partner in the mid 2000’s. Clients included Levi Jeans, K-Mart, Unilever, Lear Corp, and Bell Helicopter.
In 2009 under the Haines Group Inc. Mark bought the Deco Sealers manufacturing facility in Lancaster, PA. Sales have doubled each year since purchasing Deco and a very wet 2011 will be another blessed year for Deco Sealers.
Mark received his Bachelors of Science Degree from Millersville University in December, 1988 graduating in 3.5 years as he was always driven to succeed. He’s been married to Jackie, his Jr. High Sweetheart for 20 years and has three children. He enjoys skiing, swimming, attending college football games and hunting at his Juniata and Cambria county properties. He is also Board President for the Diplomat Swim Club at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.

DECO manufactures 100% built Green Damp Proof, Basement wall sealer, Wall vapor barriers, concrete waterproofing sealer, and Water Proof products. We distribute to Concrete and Block Suppliers, Applicators, Building Supply Centers, Hardware and Paint Stores, and Lumberyards.
In 1991, DECO saw the need to develop new waterproofing products which would eliminate solvents and oil based materials being applied below the grade line on basement foundation walls. Our intention has always been to be environmentally conscious, create better worker safety and to develop Concrete Waterproofing Sealer products that are extremely effective, non-hazardous and non-flammable when being applied. Equally as important, our Waterproofing Sealer products exceed all Governmental regulations regarding the environment and the Green movement with our ICC tested 0% VOC Standards.
We have been in the construction industry for over 19 years and we have developed waterproofing sealer products you can trust and that have been successfully applied on over 2 million concrete and masonry units.
Since our goal is to increase our presence with Concrete and Block Suppliers, Applicators, Building Supply Centers, Hardware and Paint Stores, and Lumberyards, we are continually seeking to have local retailers supply DECO products. Our customers are your customers that buy lumber, paint and all construction related materials.
