Great Looking Product

So we recently moved back from Florida to West Virginia to build our dream home. The concrete contractor recommended Deco Seal which we never heard of but after reviewing the spec's it met all the check marks. Our back wall is a walk out w/ a tapered grade. Having the exposed concrete with the gray is sharp looking. The contractor did a nice job spraying the coating and got it knocked out in the afternoon. The other thing it dried by the next day which allowed the excavator to backfill and beat the rain that night.

We are a poured walled contractor and have always used Tar and tried some other products but I can tell you nothing compares to the Deco Seal. We spray our own foundation walls and this gray seal membrane lays on the wall really nice. The thickness is just right for even consistency. Our residential customers like the gray color and it is so nice that we don't have to come back on any grade line issues if the black tar starts showing above grade.

We've been using this product for almost 3 years now and have sprayed several dozen homes. We've not had one service issue so I can highly recommend this product.

Ordered Tan but color is Gray

I spoke with Mark over several emails and provided several pics of the product he shipped us-the color was Gray and he agreed-their mistake. He said he was working on getting us a batch of Tan from his team in Colorado and they’d ship it to us but he eventually just blew us off saying to go out and buy outdoor paint to cover up the gray! For spending $1000 already I wouldn’t recommend getting this garbage customer service and wrong color. Our roof is brown and everything is tans and browns-the grey looks awful! I still have the emails and the pics etc. and our house is still looking gray when it should be TAN, like we ordered and paid for.

Angela, it's unfortunate you don't like our color. A gray & beige swatch sample is on our beige orders to show a clear difference. Our gray is dark or smokey. Beige/Tan has hues of grays, browns and yellow. There are many variations of tans/beiges. If color is very important we advise a small test to ensure the desired results before completing your project. FYI...Deco Seal is paintable if you don't like either of our colors. Thank you, Mark

Stellar products, Customer Service & Tech Support

Highly recommend.

After having bad experiences with several other waterproofing products such as Dry-Lok, Blue Max Liquid Rubber, Flex-seal Liquid and more, Iwas pleasantly surprised at how easy both the Tac Primer & Gray Deco Seal was to apply, dried quickly and easy cleanup. Looks great.

I applied both to a cement foundation with a large paint brush quickly. Deco Seal goes on easily, quickly, no drips. Felt like light pudding going on.

I plan on using these products on more foundation waterproofing projects.

Customer service and tech support fr owner, Mark Hines, was outstanding.

Don’t hesitate to use these products. Much better than anything else I’ve found.

Use of Deco Sealers

Pros:
Cons:
I used 5 gallons of Deco20, then 8 gallons of Deco gray membrane above and below grade on my split-face block -on-slab garage. I applied the Deco20 with a garden sprayer and was happy when it rained the next day! The water no longer penetrated the block. The membrane was applied in two coats with a 3/4” nap roller and followed behind with a brush. The finished product is stupendous! It really looks great and I believe I made the right call as far as waterproofing. The grade is sloped into the back of the garage with free water standing during construction. No moisture has shown yet. I give the whole process a “5”. The only minor issue was that the second pail of membrane was considerably darker in color than the first, making a third coat necessary in some areas. In all, we couldn’t be happier with the result so far.

(Thank you for letting us know about the color differentiation. That process will change going forward)
